I post humors and oddities I come across online and off. It doubles as visual therapy.

my personal design of Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon is huge for me; it’s my favorite tv show ever, she’s my favorite super hero, and also my personal hero that gives me strength when i need it. but i’ve always been hesitant to seriously draw any Sailor Moon fan art because of my style, and the fear that i might mess up something so dear to me.
well, i finally dove in, and here’s my Sailor Moon. i personally like to envision Sailor Moon as chubby (or at least stockier than the other senshi) for many reasons; mainly that others tease her by calling her fat all the time, her love for eating (not that only fat people love to eat), and most importantly as an everygirl-type heroine that does incredible things despite being average (or even an underachiever) in her personal life, she is an idol to the everygirl in all of us, as well as the girl who feels she screws up a lot. so i think it’s important to have more body types to look up too.
plus i just think she’s adorable with a stocky frame! and it just seems to fit her character. i really wanted to play up how short she is (only 4’11”!!) which for some reason most artists never seem to do.
i’d like to do the rest of the senshi too! we’ll see how it goes. :)

Every animal-lover who’s watched Game Of Thrones or read A Song Of Ice And Fire has probably found themselves wishing for their own direwolf, to serve as a loyal companion and occasional mauler of heinous boy kings. Alas, Canis dirus went extinct millennia ago, but now thanks to The Dire Wolf Project, direwolves are making their way back to reality—sort of.
